Street campaign «Looking for a hero»

To help an old woman cross the road, to help a girl collect confused things, to return someone else’s wallet — these are not topics for courtesy lessons for schoolchildren. That was the beginning of the «Kurbalesia» theatrical art festival. The actors of the “Beautiful Flowers” ​​ theater and the initiators of the festival were looking for modern heroes among Kharkiv residents. Looking for modern heroes, the actors provoke ordinary residents to do good deeds.

We are trying to convey that the theater is much closer to real life than it may seem at first glance.

The slogan for that perfomance is «Are you sleeping at the theater? — Don`t oversleep something in your life! «

In 2012, the opening ceremony was held at the Palace of Students of the National University “Yaroslav the Wise Law Academy of Ukraine”. The celebrations were attended by the governor of Kharkov region Mikhail Dobkin, the Kharkov mayor Gennady Kernes, the honorary president of the festival, the French film actress Milen Demonzho.

In addition, the guests of honor attended the ceremony: French cinema star Alain Delon, cinema special effects specialist, Oscar winner, Kharkiv-based Eugene Mamut, director and scriptwriter, People’s Artist of the RSFSR Rodion Nahapetov, animation master, owner of Animagic studio (USA), Irina Borisova and others.

In 2013, at the opening of the V International Festival of Short Films “Kharkiv Lilac”, the “Beautiful Flowers” ​​theater already presented its first short film “Free Comrade”.

Radio Ladio and the Beautiful Flowers theater

For the first time in Kharkov there is a party in radio broadcasting format!

The guys from the Beautiful Flowers theater (Artyom Vusik, Igor Klyuchnik, Denis Chmelev) tried themselves in completely new roles this time: they became the top three radio hosts (Short-spoken Lev Sergeyevich, Gambling DJ Key and well-liked Roman Host). Hiding in a secret room, they run their mini-headings and put on appropriate music, and all this is broadcasted on screens in the main hall of the cafe. Closer to twelve at night the guys come out of the wheelhouse with his dance performance «Charles   Baudelaire and Gold.» Some lucky visitors even have the opportunity to get into the radio room, send greetings and order music!

On April 7, 2012, the morning exercise lesson was held on World Health Day on Freedom Square. The action was organized by activists in the field of promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people, along with “Beautiful Flowers” theater.

The Physical trainer ,actress of the Kharkov State Academic Theater named after Shevchenko, Oksana Cherkashyna, showed the exercises, and nearly 30 participants of the morning exercises repeated movements, accompanied by music.

The action was of a civil nature and was not tied to anything, much less to politics.
